NGI News Letter - vol.10 (2019 Autumn News)

The year 2019 is coming to an end.

It was a year of God's unparalleled love and amazing grace.

As for the REMEMBER ministry, we held 21 rallies in Korea and 40 rallies overseas (60 rallies in total), calling for freedom of human rights and religion for North Korea. We have sent off 1,200 rice bottles containing Bible and handwritten letters to the North. At the RESTORE ministry, 284 North Korean refugees were going through restoration as they settle down in South Korea through Home visitation ministry, Family camp, Healing trip, and Hanawon visitation. In the REBUILD ministry, we have equipped at least 230 North Korean refugees and their children as the generation of Unified Korea through Nehemiah English Unification Camp, Nehemiah Youth Club, and Nehemiah English School.

Without your generous support and prayers from all of you, we would not be able to experience so many fruits and miracles. I heartily thank you for being part of this journey together.

In 2020, under the theme of "Revival," we will focus on the restoration of the Korean Peninsula, the restoration of the lives of North Korean refugees, and the North Korean people to the gospel.

From January 17th to February 1st, Nehemiah Discipleship Camp ....

NGI's First DTS Scholarship
Yejin attended NGI's Nehemiah English School for two and a half years. She has been faithfully participating in NERC (Nehemiah English Reunification Camp) for three years. Right after the summer camp, she embarked on a 6-month journey of Discipleship Training School(DTS) and will soon complete her discipleship program. And now, she is heading to the outreach in Oceania. NGI has awarded a scholarship of 1 million Korean won for her outreach trip to the islands, and we praise God for the opportunity to invest meaningfully in her journey of knowing God and making Him known to the people of Oceania. Please pray for Yejin's first missionary journey.

This month we had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of Jesus in our NGI Christmas Family Gathering.
For most, it was their first Christmas. With the fund raised by NGI Hong Kong, especially for the Christmas gathering, NGI could bless the refugees with a warm Christmas gift package. We thank God for such a joyous time of fellowship. Most of them responded positively and are interested in participating in other programs in the community center. We look forward to God's continuous healing and restoration in their lives. We pray they will have companionship with our dear Lord Jesus Christ.

Sea Route Project:
Rice and Bible to North Korea

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matt. 4:4)

Join us to deliver God's heart in reaching North Korean souls through this Sea Route project.

If you church or organization would like to partner with us in this ministry, please contact us at +82-2-363-8488.

We will be cohosting Nehemiah Discipleship Camp (NDC) (see more) from January 17 to February 1, 2020, in Seattle-Los Angeles-San Jose. NGI has shortlisted eight North Korean refugees to find the dream that God has given them in the USA. Pray that this camp to be prepared in the Lord's will. May the refugees be disciples of Jesus Christ and take His footsteps as leaders of Unified Korea. We are trusting God to supply all the needs of this camp, according to His riches and glory.
