Hello, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ!

This is Kenneth Bae.
The scorching summer is almost at its end, and it seems like fall is almost here in South Korea. It seemed like the year 2021 had just begun, but we’re already into the third quarter. We sincerely pray that, your new season is filled with the fruit of the Spirit.
Thanks to your prayers and generosity, we were able to have many different fellowships and gatherings despite of being limited to have them only online due to COVID-19.

The summer semester of 2021 NES (Nehemiah English School) hosted a total of 30 students assigned in 7 different classes.
Also, PD Jinsun Shin and vision coach Namsoo Kim led the ‘Youth & Young Adults Vision Seminar’ by sharing testimonies of their walk in faith and career. Following testimony time they had a  Q&A session.

We also had online/offline Vacation Bible School (VBS) for elementary school students for three days. English praise and Bible recital during the three-day worship services really strengthened the students in their knowledge of The Trinity. The students had memorable times filled with activities like a puppet show, games, and crafts.

The NGI staff members and many volunteers put together the VBS kit, including name tags, lecture notes, snacks and gifts especially for the event, and sent them to each student’s home so they could participate in the program more actively.

NGI seeks to continue the discipleship training through the Gospel, worship services, counseling, and English education. As a faith-based international education organization, we hope to foster students holistically to become faithful leaders.

We expect that more online activities, using YouTube, Zoom, and social media, need to be utilized; thus, we really need your prayers and support in improving the online broadcast environment. COVID-19 has made our ministry tailored for online; however, NGI’s current visual and audio production equipment is quite outdated, and we need to purchase new ones and upgrade the quality of the online broadcast.

We have faced many trials and errors in carrying out programs online and figured out the advantages of online ministry. We are currently expecting to prepare ourselves with more practical and efficient equipment adapted to the situations and objectives of NGI’s ministry.

This requires purchasing video/recording equipment (DSLR camera or mirrorless camera), lighting equipment, microphonesa computer with graphics cards (GTX 1060 6GB or higher) for video editing, sound mixing, and stable Internet

To do this, the total budget is about USD 7,000. So I want to urgently ask you for your help with upgrading the quality of the online broadcast for the new Autumn English School and continuous online training.

Your interest in and support of NGI’s media ministry can be really helpful in bearing fruits in communications with volunteers all over the world.

We are all facing and overcoming these difficult times together. We firmly believe that God will fill your times with more grace and peace than ever before. We hope that these times become an opportunity to look back at the mission we’re given to North Korean refugee families and love them more deeply. We sincerely invite you to partner with us.

This is the end of today’s N-Letter.🍁
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
we hope and pray that you'll have a spirit-filled week,
And see you again next month!
