[2019 Autumn Newsletter] Healing Ministry | Autumn Outing

Here’s a good news!!

This news is about Yeon-Jeong, who set foot in Korea through previous NGI support.

She completed Hanawon well, and now learning Korean society one thing at a time. She was tremendously worried about how to live in Seoul all alone. But with accompanying community, she said she feels less lonely.

Every evening, she is building herself in faith by writing down bible verses letter by letter.

When we went to see fall foliage at the end of October, she enjoyed the scenery like a child, by taking pictures, sharing stories about her hometown mountains and rivers.

Please pray for Yeon-Jung, that she will keep this passion in Christ, and the Words she wrote may be imprinted on her heart.

Many sisters feel lonely from the thoughts that they are alone here. They also feel ashamed when people around them find out their identity, even if no one talks about it.

For example, instead of asking where a cup is, they spend hours to find it at the department store. Worrying what if people laugh at them when they say ‘Gopoo(North Korean word for cup)’. Please support them and pray for them that they will live with healthy self-identity in our society.
