Greetings from Missionary Kenneth Bae,
After a three-month refreshing and revitalizing sabbatical, I will return to Korea in early July, with renewed strength, power, and vision to continue with God's sovereign calling. I sincerely thank all the supporters, sponsors, and NGI staff who prayed for me during my sabbatical.
 
 
 
β–² 2021 Nehemiah English School Spring Semester Class / 2021 Nehemiah English School Spring Semester Closing Ceremony β–² 
 
 
After completing the 2021 NES (Nehemiah English School) Spring Semester, by the grace of the Lord, NES is prepared to start the Intensive English Summer School program offering instruction to North Korean refugees. NES requests that you join us in prayer, and support with a prayerful heart, the effective operation and management of this program for approximately 30 students.
Additionally, I would like to introduce you to two ministries scheduled for this June through August, and I invite you to pray for them.
 
 
 
Summer Ministry#1

 
2021 Nehemiah Summer English School
 
Beginning June 28th, NES Intensive Summer Session will provide Christian English education to students preparing for college, as well as current college students desiring to advance their English proficiency. Our 2021 Summer School program aims to enhance students' English skills by providing two courses: English Enrichment Course and TOEIC Course. 2021 Summer NES (Nehemiah English School) specialize in empowering and rebuilding the lives of North Korean refugees, youth, and young adults, through English education and equipping them in their spiritual life.
The six-week English the school offers five weeks of intensive English education along with a three-night-four-days Discipleship Camp at a beautiful Gangwha Island. 
 
Camp Site: Seokmodo Seungyeong Middle School β–²
 
 
β€»To provide a quality English education, textbooks, meals, tuition, and Discipleship Camp expenses to 30 students for this 6-week program, will cost $600 USD per person. 
Please join in sponsoring this program and help rebuild the life of 30 North Korean refugee students, developing them into the Nehemiahs of this age.
 
 
Summer Ministry#2
 
 
The Nehemiah English Club will gather at the NGI Center to have fellowship among North Korean refugees, South Korean youth, and native English teachers/volunteers. The purpose of the English Club is to improve confidence in English conversation, enjoy engaging in companionship through exciting activities and experience a unified Korean community.
 
Nehemiah English Club will gather on July 10th, July 24th, August 14th, and August 28th. The staff of NEC is praying and preparing programs for all North and South Korean youth and foreign volunteers to build a welcoming and accepting environment to experience the family of God and cultivate friendship in the Christian faith community.
 
 
 
 
 
Aspiring students confronting severe economic circumstances will participate in various summer programs through your prayers and financial support.
Your commitment and support will glorify God and strengthen the North Korean refugees to grow and nurture them as the leaders of the next unified generation of Korea. As you partake in this ministry, you will also experience incredible heavenly blessings.
